A popular video shows a young man being confronted by military men for wearing camouflage shorts and being told to take them off in public.
When the gathering of military personnel noticed the young man, it appears that he was wearing military camouflage shorts.
Before telling him to remove the short, they had questioned him about the clothes he had chosen.
Clearly obedient, the young man took the short as instructed. Then, as he was being attacked by others, he was told to kneel.
Social media users’ responses to the video have been conflicting.

Section 110 of the Criminal Code & 251 of the Constitution prohibit civilians from wearing it.
Obey the law or get whatever comes your way”
@Tonybrainy remarked: “As much as I hate this, Nigerian law does prohibit private citizens from wearing military camouflage or clothing that resembles a military uniform (including replicas), and doing so can be a criminal offence.”
