A Nigerian lady has sparked reactions online after recounting a surprising encounter involving an unexpected ₦500,000 transfer to her bank account.

Sharing the story on X, the lady, identified by the handle @_raesparkles, explained that the sender appeared anonymous at first, prompting her to visit her bank in search of more details about the transaction.

According to her, she later managed to contact the sender by phone, but he allegedly reacted angrily and abruptly ended the call. She said she then sent him text messages and attempted to call him multiple times without success.

However, after trying again about four hours later, she reportedly received an unexpected response from the man.

The lady further revealed that she checked the sender’s registered identity through Truecaller and discovered that the name matched the bank details attached to the transfer. After searching the name online, she claimed she found out the sender was allegedly a well-known businessman she might have previously seen listed on Forbes rankings.

‎”May God not allow me have business with poor people, because of 500k you want to call me to glory” and he added one Hausa language at the back of it”, The lady added, recounting how the conversation unfolded.

Sharing details of her next move, she stated, “After one week I’ll send him a text to remind him to send my new week allawe since he has decided to be helping my poor self”
