A Nigerian man has accused an unidentified minister of being the source of Verydarkman’s criticism of Apostle Arome, claiming that the minister’s actions were motivated by jealousy after witnessing Arome visit his spiritual sons in Nigeria and receive a building.

In response to a video featuring Verydarkman and Apostle Arome, the man claimed that his initial reaction was to suspect that another minister might have planned the incident rather than to wonder why VDM was criticizing the preacher.

“When I saw this video the first thing that came to my mind was not ‘oh why is VDM dragging Apostle Arome.’ The first thing that came to my mind was one of us did this. A minister amongst us did this.”

He claimed that jealous of Arome’s accomplishments and power, the anonymous minister might have hired VDM to attack Arome.

“Because you saw that he got a building. Because he came to Nigeria and he’s visiting his sons and everything and you’re envious. And you just had to look for a way so you contracted VDM to do this.”

The man went on to speak directly to the purported minister, claiming that the envy was a result of not being able to reach the level he thought Arome had attained.

“I just want to tell you that the reason why you are envious of him is because you’re not up to where he is.”

Additionally, he presented Arome’s role as divinely mandated, asserting that God purposefully selected him over the anonymous minister.

“And the reason why God placed him there is because he’s better than you. And have it at the back of your mind that before God elevated him to that level, God saw you and did not choose you.”

The man did not identify the minister he was accusing, and there was no evidence presented in his statement to establish that the unnamed minister actually contacted or contracted VDM to criticise Arome.
