Nigerian artist Peter Okoye, well known as Mr P, has advised individuals to marry their closest friend, describing his wife, Lola, as his most important support system.

In a recent video, Mr P remembered how Lola had supported him and his staff since their first days in Jos.

According to him, she helped improve their travel arrangements by prohibiting them from taking nite buses between Jos and Lagos and instead booking flights for them.

The musician referred to Lola as his best friend, emphasising the value of friendship and support in a healthy marriage.

This comes in the midst of increased controversy about the twins’ family conflict, as well as Peter Okoye’s recent announcement about his wife, Lola Omotayo-Okoye.
