On the microblogging site X (previously Twitter), a Nigerian man has described his experience with a security guard at a restaurant.

The man, who goes by @Pentane on X, revealed that the incidence happened two weeks ago, right after he had finished eating.

@Pentane revealed in his now-viral tweet that the security guard gave him a cordial greeting.

He then gave the security guard ₦2,000. He went to the same restaurant last week, and the security guard used the same strategy.

However, the security guy gave him an uncomfortable look as he simply said hello and left.

‎Sharing the reason for his actions, the X user stated, “I deliberately didn’t give him anything because I don’t want him to start feeling entitled to my kindness every time I show up”.
