A Nigerian woman identified as @-IAMglory on X, formerly known as Twitter, has sparked an online conversation after sharing an unusual experience from a recent date.

According to her account, she ordered fish during the outing and later asked the waiter to provide her with a fork.

However, the man she was on the date with reportedly questioned her decision to use a fork instead of eating the fish with her hands.

Uncomfortable with the comment, the woman decided to end the date immediately. She picked up her bag, walked out of the venue and blocked the man while making her way home.

Sharing her experience online, she urged Nigerian men to reconsider certain attitudes and mindsets when dealing with women, encouraging them to make improvements.

The story has since generated a wave of reactions on X, with users sharing different opinions about her decision to leave the date.
