A woman has reportedly been rescued by local vigilantes in Delta State following a terrifying encounter with a man she met online.

According to reports, the man invited her out and, instead of taking her to a public place, allegedly led her to a bush with his friend.

She was reportedly tied to a tree.

The lady also claimed that the men transferred all of the money from her bank account during the ordeal.

She was eventually rescued by members of a vigilante group.
