Following the Ekiti State governorship election, a video circulating on social media showed a lady exhibiting cash while professing her support for the ruling All Progressives Congress.

In the video, the woman claimed she received ₦15,000 for her vote and publicly celebrated the purported payment while flashing the money on camera.

The video has received varied comments online. Critics blasted the purported occurrence, claiming that vote-buying undermines democratic processes and erodes electoral integrity.

Others questioned the validity of the story and urged authorities to look into the circumstances around the video.
