Ubi Franklin, a well-known music businessman, has thought back on what he considers to be one of his greatest regrets: counselling young men against having children with several women.

In a video posted on his Instagram page, he spoke from personal experience and stated that although financial responsibility is crucial, the true difficulty is handling the connections and emotions between various moms of one’s children.

“One of the worst decisions you can ever make is to have kids with different women. No matter the money you think you have, that should never be a decision you make in your life,” he said.

The father of multiple kids acknowledged that raising kids isn’t necessarily the most difficult part, pointing out that handling baby mama drama and preserving harmony among the adults involved sometimes get to be too much.

He advised males to consider their options carefully before making such choices, cautioning that although some people might be able to handle the circumstance, others might find it difficult to handle the emotional strain.

“Taking care of them is not the problem, but managing the emotions of the adults who are their mothers. Let baby mama drama not be part of your life,” he added.

Ubi Franklin also admitted that while having children is one of life’s greatest blessings, he regrets he had made other decisions in that area.

He counselled young men to avoid circumstances that would lead to needless complexities and, to the greatest extent feasible, have a family with a single spouse.
