Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Tems has talked candidly about her dating philosophy, stating that she has come to the conclusion that she no longer wants to put up with circumstances where men are wasting her time.

The singer made the comment while thinking back on her own life and encounters with men, implying that her approach to relationships has become more deliberate.

Tems stated that she doesn’t like it when a man keeps her waiting or doesn’t take her seriously, but she added that because she has moved past that stage of her life, she no longer views it as an issue.

“I don’t like it when guys waste my time. But for me, never again. I don’t have that problem anymore. I’ve left the streets; I wouldn’t even say I was ever on the streets.”
