A man has described how, despite his ex-girlfriend’s claims that she was sleeping at home, he discovered her with another man at a club.

The man described how he confronted his ex after seeing her with another man in a post on X (previously Twitter), only for her to allegedly turn the tables on him.

He claims that before leaving the club, she promised to explain what was going on and begged him to wait for two minutes.

“I caught my ex with another guy in the club while she was supposed to be sleeping. She told me to wait two minutes, that she was gonna explain everything. I said OK,” he wrote.

According to the man, his ex left the event, went home, and changed into her pyjamas before making a video call to him. But rather than giving an explanation, she accused him of being unfaithful.

He remembered her threatening to come back with her brothers and insisting that he stay at the club until she got there.

“She left the club, got a cab, went home, put on her pajamas, and started a video call. When I picked up, she started yelling at me, ‘What are you doing in the club at this hour? You’re cheating on me, aren’t you? Don’t you move, I’m coming with my brothers, you’re gonna explain yourself,’

Ten minutes later, she was there with them in front of the club. They beat me up without warning,” he added.

Online attention has been drawn to the man’s story, with many people concentrating on the strange development and the purported altercation that ensued.

Discussions concerning relationships, deceit, and the speed at which a conflict between partners can turn violent have also been sparked by his experience.
