A Nigerian woman has gone viral online after recounting her interaction with two Jehovah’s Witness members.
The lady, identified as @YogaQueen01 on the microblogging platform, X (previously Twitter), described her experience in a viral post.
According to the X user, the Jehovah Witness members intended to evangelise her while holding umbrellas.
Upon seeing them, she pretended to be dumb and deaf, which was effective. One of them then handed her a book and wished her a pleasant day, to which she wrongly answered.
In a tweet with over 40,000 views, the lady expressed how her reaction left Jehovah’s Witness members bewildered, unhappy, and confused.
Read the tweet below;
Two JW came into my compound this morning to evangelize, standing here with their umbrella as usual. I switched to sign language and acted deaf and dumb. It worked perfectly cos I no just get their time today.
So they handed me one of their books, and said, “Do have a nice day.” I forgot myself for a second and replied, “And you too.” The look of surprise, confusion & disappointment on their faces was priceless.
