A Nigerian man has disclosed details of his last conversation with Afrofuji artist Destiny Boy, prompting sorrow and tributes from fans and business colleagues.

Destiny Boy was reported to have died at a traditional herbalist’s home, leaving social media users in shock.

However, his management team has yet to comment on the rumours, and no official cause of death has been published.

Bright Mj Adieza, a Facebook user, revealed that Destiny Boy shared his health difficulties with him.

The Facebook user informed the singer’s father and published a screenshot of their communication.

Destiny Boy apologised to the man in a famous internet discussion, revealing his illness.

Meanwhile, Nigerian TikToker Tobi Nation has addressed the rumours surrounding Destiny Boy’s death.

In a TikTok broadcast, he claimed Destiny Boy was still alive that his death was a PR gimmick, similar to rapper Oladip’s false death in 2023.
