Daniel Regha, a public analyst, generated major social media debate after making remarks about Atiku Abubakar’s son’s departure.
According to reports, Abba Abubakar, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s son, has defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa.
According to rumours, Abba Abubakar defected to the APC and openly supported President Bola Tinubu’s reelection attempt in 2027.
The development has sparked interest because his father, Atiku Abubakar, is reportedly planning to run for president on the ADC platform.
Atiku’s desire is said to be one of the motivators for the building of the opposition coalition ahead of the 2019 general election.
Daniel Regha responded to the news by sharing his thoughts on social media, questioning the political ramifications of the action.
