“I’m older than my boyfriend, but he reasons like a matured man” — Lady

Age is not always a sign of maturity or wisdom in a relationship, according to a woman who gave an explanation for her decision to stay in a relationship with a younger guy.

Although she admitted that she is older than her boyfriend, she stated that she does not think being with an older man always equates to having a more mature or intelligent partner.

She claims that even though her boyfriend is younger than her, she respects the way he approaches problems and thinks.

She added that she takes his advise seriously and that he is prepared to criticise her whenever she does something he deems improper.

The woman went on to say that one of the reasons she loves him so much and feels she cannot live without him is because of his maturity.

“I’m older than my boyfriend and I know. It’s not by dating a 30-year-old man or 38-year-old man. Is that—does that man have sense? My boyfriend is a boy but he reasons like a matured man. When I’m doing things that are not good, he will correct me and tell me, ‘Baby, I don’t like what you’re doing,’ and I will say, ‘Oh, this thing that my baby said, let me reason it, it’s good.’

“It’s not by dating a man that is older than you enough. You get sense? That is why I love him so much and I can’t do without him…”
