“If you stop, Jarvis will leave” – Portable warns Peller over lavish spending following Maldives trip

Portable, a controversial Nigerian artist, has given a warning to content producer Peller about his spending habits with his partner Jarvis.

The “Zazu” singer condemned what he saw as excessive spending on a lover, claiming that such a lifestyle could lead to unrealistic expectations in a relationship.

“Peller, I have an advice for you. The girl you’re spending your money on, Jarvis, you are touring her everywhere for vacations, but the day you stop doing it, it will become a problem,” he said.

He further suggested that repeatedly showering a woman with expensive presents could put pressure on her to keep up or risk losing her.

Portable also questioned Peller’s priorities, contrasting how he treats his fiancée with how he treats his own family.

“You bought her Benz this year for her birthday. Next year, if you don’t buy jet, that girl will leave you. You’ve not taken your mother to those kinds of places, but you dey carry girl go.”

He added that while he also spends on women, he believes there should be limits, insisting that relationships shouldn’t be based on excessive spending.

“Even me, I spend money on women, but not the way you’re wasting money. That’s not how they take care of a lady,” Portable added.

This follows the couple’s romantic luxury trip to the Maldives, where their love-filled movies and public displays of devotion went viral online.
