A young guy has stirred outrage on social media after blaming Nigeria’s present economic condition on the prayers of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
The message, uploaded on X (previously Twitter) by @maxvayshia, indicated that the country would have had a ‘much worse economy’ if not for spiritual intervention.
In the viral post, @maxvayshia attempted to make a sarcastic comment about Nigeria’s economic struggle and rising expense of living, stating that things could have been much worse without prayer.
He maintained that, despite current economic issues, Nigeria would be in a worse situation if Pastor Enoch Adeboye’s prayers and spiritual influence had not been so powerful.
He also compared the pricing of fundamental commodities, claiming that expenses would have been much higher without what he called supernatural intervention.
Read his words below:
“We don’t appreciate Daddy G.O Adeboye enough toh. Kerosene is N2,400. Gas is 2,400. If not for his prayers and talk with God over coffee, we would be buying them at N8,500 by now.
Thank you, Daddy.”
