A single mother has stirred emotional reactions online after opening up about the pain of seeing her daughter also become a single mother despite the sacrifices she made to give her children a better future.

The woman shared her story during an online discussion centered on parenting, broken homes, and generational struggles.

According to her, she spent years raising her children alone and surviving through menial jobs after the children’s father allegedly failed to take responsibility for them.

She explained that one of her greatest fears in life was watching her daughter go through the same struggles and repeat the cycle she had worked hard to overcome.

“Nobody talks about the pain of being a single mother and all you envisioned for your children is for a better life. You don’t pray for your children to follow your footsteps. You still see them getting pregnant for stupid, nonsense, wayward men, something you prayed against. All your life you’ve been struggling to feed these children because of the waywardness of their father, and that child ends up being another single mother in your own house,” she added emotionally.
