The late Nollywood actress and influencer Nimmy Ferrari’s father has addressed her mother’s recent accusations that he failed to provide for their daughter and tried to sell or take over the home where she was buried.

In a video posted on social media, Nimmy’s father called her mother’s accusations false and denied any involvement in his daughter’s demise.

Additionally, he claimed that after Nimmy passed away, her things and automobile were taken out of the house.

The grieving father asserted that, without Nimmy’s mother’s knowledge, he fully funded the building of his own home.

He claims that after he finished the house, Nimmy came to see him and showed interest in constructing her own home nearby.

He claimed that without receiving any payment from his daughter, he handed her the land on which she constructed her home.

He added that Nimmy had told him not to notify her mother about the property since she had sold the first plot of land she bought and constructed her home somewhere else.

Nimmy’s parents apparently disagreed over what to do when she passed away.

Her father claimed that the only item he disagreed with was Nimmy’s mother making akara for a family get-together following the funeral, claiming that soft drinks and bottled water would have been more suitable.

The father went on to say that although he had opened a bank account for Nimmy, he was unable to access it.

He claimed that since her passing, money had been taken out of the account, leaving a balance of roughly ₦9,000.

He said that Nimmy was still in the hospital when the withdrawals were made.

He added that Segun, the spouse of his ex-partner, confronted him and accused him of orchestrating the withdrawals.

In response to allegations that she had fibroid surgery, Nimmy’s father said that his daughter had not told him about the procedure until they were already in the hospital.

The family conflict arises from conflicting claims made by Nimmy’s parents after the actress passed away, with each side providing a different version of what happened to her belongings, medical care, and funeral. Neither parent’s claims have been independently verified.
