A woman’s assertion that she asked a friend to reimburse the ₦150,000 she donated to his wedding after the marriage collapsed just four days later has caused a lot of backlash on social media.

Sharing her experience, the lady said, “I didn’t sleep for almost a week after giving ₦150,000 to a friend on his wedding ceremony, only for the marriage to end after four days.. Not even four weeks or four months. No one knows the reason, they just posted it on their status and that’s it. I felt cheated cause tell me why you guys didn’t separate before the wedding? I ended up asking for a refund. My friend blocked me the next day. I feel cheated honestly. What do you mean you guys are done after collecting my ₦150,000?”
