The Anambra State Police Command has secured the remand of Mr Chukwudi Chukwuyere ‘M’, 40, and Mrs Chisom Chukwuyere ‘F’, 30, in a Correctional Centre for their complicity in the torture of a 10-year-old kid in Isiowulu, Anambra State.

The accused were arraigned in court following the completion of preliminary investigations into the case, which sparked public concern after reports and video footage of the victim circulated on social media.

The 10-year-old youngster was rescued by a concerned neighbour and other inhabitants of the neighbourhood where he lived with his abusive guardians.
