A video showing the moment passengers reportedly restrained a man who allegedly attempted to open an aircraft exit door while the plane was mid-flight has gone viral on social media, sparking panic and widespread reactions.

According to the woman who shared the footage, more than 100 passengers could have been placed in danger if the situation had not been brought under control.

Passengers reportedly intervene

The woman claimed that the man allegedly tried to gain access to an exit door while the aircraft was in the air, prompting other male passengers to quickly intervene.

She said the passengers managed to restrain the man and tie him down to prevent him from causing further disruption or potentially endangering those on board.

Sharing the video, she wrote:> “Netflix documentary on how me and about 100+ passengers nearly lost our lives because of a single person who tries to open the exit door mid-flight. Thank God for men who tied him down immediately.”

The footage has since attracted significant attention, with many viewers praising the passengers who reportedly acted quickly to restrain the man.
