A Nigerian woman has left many people stunned and amused after revealing a strange incident she had with a man while out for a walk.
In a viral video posted on X (previously Twitter) by @AsakyGRN, she described how a nice-looking guy approached her and asked if she was going his way.
She respectfully declined, indicating she wanted to keep going. The man then confessed that he liked her and wanted to meet again, to which she consented.

“He was like, let me quickly give you my number so you can go on with your walk. But before I could finish, the man saw my phone — my iPhone X — paused, and asked if it was my only phone. When he confirmed it was, he simply said, ‘Never mind,’ and zoomed off.”
The experience left her startled, stuck in place for approximately three minutes while she tried to understand what had just transpired.
“Since I entered this my broke girl era, I’ve had a lot of experiences, but this one hits differently. I’m still looking for the words to explain how I feel,” she added.
The tale went viral online, with some joking about people’s shallowness and others sympathising with her uncertainty and humiliation.
