After being kicked out of her husband’s home for squandering her kids’ school funds to gamble, a Nigerian woman has gone popular on the internet.

@Tope-Orus, a user on the microblogging site X (previously Twitter), shared the tragic event.

A woman was ejected from her husband’s home. The X user claims that the woman’s husband gave her N80,000 to cover their kids’ tuition, which she then utilised for gambling.

She remained silent after losing the money until the kids were dismissed from school for failing to pay their fees.

When the husband noticed the wife’s behaviour, he ordered her to leave the house, but her justifications were ignored.

‎”When her husband eventually found out, he did not beat her. Instead, he told her to pack her belongings and leave the house. She tried to explain that she had been winning before and that this loss was just a mistake, but the husband insisted that if he returned home and found her there, it would not end well. Now, the children are at home and not attending school”,
