Egungun, a well-known content creator from Lagos, has raised the bar for generosity this Christmas by giving each of his three employees a whole piece of land as a year-end present. He posted clips from the presentation on Instagram, showing each employee being called up and given paperwork attesting to their land ownership. His personal assistant (PA), professional maid, and videographer were all clearly moved and appreciative. Many social media users pointed out that Egungun offered long-term assets in addition to gifts, given the steadily growing land prices in Lagos.

Online responses have been largely favourable. Some fans called Egungun a rare example of how success should be shared, while others commended him for being a CEO who truly cares.

While some users even joked that they were prepared to send in their resumes, others pushed more businesses and influencers to record employee appreciation in addition to incentives and gifts.
