The (EFCC) has warned content creators and the public against the unauthorized use of its name, logo, uniforms, and likeness in skits and other media productions.
In a video statement posted on its handle, the commission said it has noticed increasing use of its identity in online comedy and skit content without approval.
The agency stressed that many of these portrayals misrepresent its operations, adding that it has not authorised any individual or group to use its image for entertainment purposes.
EFCC further clarified that it does not sponsor, endorse, or approve any comedy, drama, or online content that features its identity without written permission.
The commission warned the public to immediately stop using its name, logo, uniforms, or other identifying elements in skits or promotional materials without authorization, stating that violators risk prosecution.
