Miguel Díaz-Canel has issued a strong warning amid renewed tensions between Cuba and the United States, stating that any military assault on Cuba would lead to “a bl00dbath with incalculable consequences.”
In a statement shared on X, Díaz-Canel insisted that Cuba does not pose a threat to any nation and has no aggressive intentions toward the United States or any other country.
“Cuba poses no threat, nor does it have aggressive plans or intentions against any country. It has none against the US, nor has it ever had any,” he stated.
The Cuban president further described threats of military aggression as dangerous and unlawful, warning that any such action could severely damage regional peace and stability.
His comments have since drawn international attention as political observers continue to monitor the growing strain in relations between Havana and Washington.
