The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) has appealed to the public and the media to protect the privacy of the children of Ifeanyi Ogbonna, popularly known as Odogwu of Asaba.
Ogbonna was arrested over allegations that he √@ped a 20-year-old woman who later d!ed by su!c!de.
In a statement, NAPTIP stressed that children should not be made to suffer because of allegations involving their parents.
“Children are always innocent. We urge the public and media to protect their privacy by blurring or covering their faces in any shared content related to such cases. Their rights and dignity must be safeguarded,” the agency stated.
