A Canadian woman has generated discussions online after sharing her opinion on Nigerian men and relationships.

In a viral video, she described Nigerian men as caring, hardworking, and naturally committed to providing for their partners. According to her, many Nigerian men who genuinely love their significant others take pride in paying bills and making sure their partners are financially secure.

She also claimed that many Nigerian men are not comfortable with strictly splitting responsibilities equally in relationships, explaining that they often see providing and caring for their partners as an important part of their role.

The woman went on to praise Nigerians for their hardworking nature and playful personalities, while also challenging stereotypes that label all Nigerian men as unfaithful.

“I’m going to say this for those in the back. There’s no love that trumps the love that you will receive from a Nigerian man, if he actually loves you. Nigerian men are providers. If you’re their woman, their goal is to pay all bills. They don’t do 50/50. It literally bothers them if you are paying bills. It hits their pride. Nigerians are very hardworking. So if you are with a Nigerian, you are most likely not gonna be broke. And in this economy? Come on guys! They like to work hard so they can play hard. One woman said to me one day that you are so lucky, your husband is so playful. I don’t think I’ve seen a Nigerian that is not. I know a lot of see Nigerians and say they are all cheaters. No they’re not all cheaters. You’re just getting close to one when they’re not ready to settle…”
