“ISIS second-in-command k!lled by US, Nigerian troops” – President Trump reveals

Donald Trump has announced that Abu-Bilal al-Minuki, described as the global second-in-command of ISIS, was ki!led during a joint military operation involving American and Nigerian forces in northeastern Nigeria.

In a statement shared on his Truth Social platform, Trump described the raid as a “meticulously planned and very complex mission,” praising both U.S. forces and the Armed Forces of Nigeria for carrying out the operation successfully.

According to reports, the operation took place in the Lake Chad Basin area around Metele in Borno State, a region long affected by insurgent activities linked to ISIS-affiliated groups and Boko Haram. Early assessments indicated that al-Minuki and several of his lieutenants were k!lled during the strike.

Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu also confirmed the operation, describing it as a major example of cooperation between Nigeria and the United States in the fight against terrorism.

Al-Minuki, who had been under U.S. sanctions since 2023 as a designated global t3rrorist, was reportedly considered one of ISIS’s most senior figures operating across West Africa and the Sahel region.

“Tonight, at my direction, brave American forces and the Armed Forces of Nigeria flawlessly executed a meticulously planned and very complex mission to eliminate the most active t3rrorist in the world from the battlefield. Abu-Bilal al-Minuki, second in command of ISIS globally, thought he could hide in Africa, but little did he know we had sources who kept us informed on what he was doing.

He will no longer t3rrorise the people of Africa, or help plan operations to target Americans.

With his removal, ISIS’s global operation is greatly diminished.
