Media personality Bolanle Olukanni has shared her thoughts on friendship etiquette, saying a genuine friend should never post a group photo in which only they look good while everyone else appears unflattering.

Speaking in a video posted on Instagram, she said:

“If she posts a group picture and she’s the only one that looks good in the picture, she ain’t your friend.

“‘Cause you don’t post group pictures where you’re the only one that looks good.

“Loyalty means posting group pictures where everybody looks good. Loyalty means posting group pictures where everyone has a good angle.”

Olukanni added that true friendship sometimes requires sacrificing a great personal photo if it comes at the expense of others in the group.

“Loyalty means sacrificing a good group picture because your friend don’t look good in it. That’s a test of true friendship.”

In the caption accompanying the video, she reiterated her stance, writing:

“I stand on this ten toes down!! like a true friend will sacrifice that fire picture for the sake of others. If everyone doesnt look good, don’t post it.”
