Aproko Doctor, a Nigerian health influencer, has stated that his wife, Amaka Egemba, did not possess the physical characteristics he once desired in a marriage.

In an interview, Aproko Doctor regarded the concept of having a precise “spec” as overrated, stating that the traits that ultimately important to him extended far beyond physical beauty.

He admitted that before meeting his wife, he had imagined someone who was already “made” and tall, partially because he had planned ahead for his future children.

However, he stated that his perspective evolved as he got to know Amaka. What impressed him the most were her opinions, the way she communicated, and, most importantly, her compassion and generosity to others.

He described his wife as honest, genuine, and so kind that she would never knowingly harm somebody.

“I think spec is completely overrated. How do I say this without, quote and unquote, Instablog please I’m begging you, I’m not insulting my wife, but if you had seen this beautiful woman as at the time when we had our first date, she did not look anything like my spec. She did not look like the spec I created in my head. I wanted someone who was just..already made, tall, and the reason I say tall is because of my children. I have to plan ahead for them. But for me, it was what she was saying, the things, her thought, but most importantly for me was her heart towards people. Amaka is the kind of person who is an open book. She’s the definition of ‘this person cannot hurt a fly’.
