An 11-year-old boy in Pennsylvania has been charged with cr!minal homic!de after allegedly sh00ting and k!lling his 42-year-old adoptive father in a tragic incident that occurred on January 13, 2026.

According to authorities, the incident happened in the family’s home in Duncannon during the early hours of the boy’s birthday. Reports indicate that the child became upset after his adoptive father confiscated his Nintendo Switch and told him to go to bed.

Investigators say the boy allegedly gained access to a firearm stored in a gun safe after finding the keys. He then loaded the weapon and sh0t his father while he was asleep. Police were called to the scene around 3:20 a.m., where they found the victim d3ad from a guπshot wound to the head.

Court documents reveal that the child reportedly confessed at the scene, admitting he acted out of anger and did not fully consider the consequences of his actions.
