Davido, a prominent artist, has broken his silence after losing a huge $348K (N495 million) after the Nigerian Super Eagles were defeated by Morocco in the 2026 AFCON.

It should be noted that the Super Eagles lost their penalty shootout after failing to secure a victory in the encounter.

Goalkeeper Yassine Bounou was the hero on Wednesday night, as host Morocco defeated Nigeria 4-2 on penalties to advance to the Africa Cup of Nations final, following a dramatic semi-final match that ended goalless after extra time.

Prior to the match, the Afrobeats singer revealed that he wagered $50,000 and expected to receive a payment of $348,000.

The Eagles had, regrettably, lost the game.

After his passing, he posted a picture of himself enjoying a delicious dinner of grilled fish before departing Morocco.
