“You won’t see Peter Obi’s face…” – Pastor educates members on how to vote ahead of 2027 election

In advance of the 2027 general election, a Nigerian pastor has advised his congregation to pay attention to the ballot paper and cast their votes for the candidate of their choice.

The pastor mentioned NDC presidential candidate Peter Obi during a church service while outlining how members should mark their favorite candidate on the ballot.

He assured his congregation that Obi’s name would not be on the ballot in 2027 and instructed them to watch for the symbol of the candidate they plan to back.

“Come the 2027 election, you won’t see Peter Obi’s face on the ballot paper. Anywhere you see two fingers, where they thumbprint, that is where you should vote for the betterment of the country,” he said.

The pastor’s assertion regarding Obi’s inclusion on the 2027 ballot was unsupported by any additional information.

His remarks coincide with the nationwide reactions to political activities and conversations surrounding the 2027 presidential election.

Under the Labor Party, Peter Obi ran for president in 2023 and has continued to be a major player in talks about the upcoming general election.

Since then, the pastor’s comments have gained attention on the internet, especially his mention of the symbol that voters should watch out for when casting their ballots.
