“You can’t be okay being single at 35 or 40” — Lady calls out single women

A woman’s opinions on being single at an older age were aired in a viral video that went viral on social media and caused a lot of conversation.

She talks passionately about relationships, companionship, and the attitude of women who say they are at ease without partners in the video.

The woman disputes the notion that some individuals are content to be single, arguing that these sentiments are frequently not sincere. She contends that rather than being met, emotional needs are occasionally repressed.

She challenges the notion of contentment in long-term singlehood, particularly between the ages of 35 and 40, in the popular video.

You are not okay. Me and you know say you’re not okay. You are not okay,” she says.

You cannot be okay being single at age 35 or 40.”

Additionally, she rejects the idea of self-sufficiency as a justification for avoiding relationships.

That spirit that is telling you that I am okay, I get money, I can take care of myself being single… kill that spirit and keep trying,” she adds.

Despite emotional setbacks or past disappointments, the woman exhorts people to never give up on love.

Even though they don’t betray you before, love no favour you, e no work out for you in the past, you better keep trying,” she says.

Keep trying one day one day e go just enter.”

She places a strong emphasis on perseverance, contending that rejection or unsuccessful relationships shouldn’t put an end to the pursuit of companionship.

She goes on to emphasise that despite of independence or financial security, humans are not made to live completely alone.

Nobody wey dey this life wey no need companion. Everybody need companion,” she states.

No matter the money which you get, you need somebody that you can call your own.”

She makes it apparent that she is not advocating for damaging or abusive engagements, but she does issue a warning against poisonous relationships.

“I am not saying you should enter a bad marriage or marry a narcissistic man. No,” she clarifies.

She concludes the video by urging people to maintain their optimism in relationships and stressing that the ideal spouse may show up out of the blue. She characterises her message as a firsthand account of tenacity in love and friendship.
