A woman identified as Serah Innocent has been accused of $t@bbing her husband, Innocent Nwaoji, to d3ath in Umuokereke Ngwa, Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State.

The tragic incident reportedly occurred on the night of Saturday, August 8, 2026, less than eight months after the couple celebrated their white wedding.

Although the exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear, reports indicate that the deceased was allegedly $t@bbed while he was asleep.

A community member, David Amaraizu, who confirmed the incident on Sunday, said the development came as a shock to residents.

He said:

“We are not aware of any disagreement between the couple before the incident. The woman has been arrested and is currently in police custody, while the deceased’s body had been deposited at a morgue.”

The incident has since generated reactions on social media, with many expressing shock over the tragedy and calling for a thorough investigation to determine what led to the alleged k!lling.
