‎A Nigerian lady has complained online over a man’s conduct towards Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo’s coffin.

Alexx Ekubo passed suddenly on May 11, 2026, in Evercare Hospital in Lagos.

The actor died of complications from severe metastatic kidney cancer, according to a family statement.

A Facebook user, Blessing Nnamekwe, provided a clip of an old guy caressing the actor’s coffin.

The lady encouraged the actor’s family to conduct an investigation into his actions.

Meanwhile, Alexx Ekubo’s sister-in-law has spoken out about their final moments before he died, as condolences and tributes come in.

In a poignant Instagram tribute, Ify Ekubo said that Alexx Ekubo had planned to visit Houston and promised to call her before his birthday.

‎Reflecting on the actor’s legacy, she stated, “You were a mentor to my children and their elder brother.It is well”.

The Service of Songs for the late Nollywood star Alexx Ekubo was place on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at The Monarch Event Centre in Lekki, Lagos.

Notably, family, friends, and colleagues from throughout Nigeria’s entertainment business gathered to pay their final respects.
