A man has given a funny anecdote of how his protective instincts were quickly activated when he noticed two men standing around his younger sister as she arrived to spend the holiday at his house.

According to the narrator, his sister had gotten off a commercial motorbike roughly two homes distant from his house.

As he stepped downstairs to meet her, he observed two older men standing with her on the street and immediately suspected something was amiss.

He claimed he unconsciously planned to confront the men before deciding to keep calm long enough to comprehend the situation. He approached them and enquired whether everything was all right.

While recounting the incident, the man said, “As I got closer to her in split seconds, my fists were already formed subconsciously, with a hardened face to ask ‘Wetin happen, wetin una dey find’ before I realized that I should calm down to first ask what’s up.” He explained that his first reaction was driven by concern for his sister.

He added, “One of them laughed after we shook hands and said ‘o ti wa sare ranju’ What was he expecting? Make I dey laugh?” According to him, the men simply wanted to know where his sister was heading after she paused near their gate.

The man continued by saying that it was now his turn to be an overprotective older brother.
