Emmanuel Obasi, the ex-husband of Nollywood actress Judy Austin, has made startling allegations on their previous marriage, igniting new internet discussions.

In an interview with The Honest Bunch podcast, he revealed that although they were previously married and had two kids together, their relationship deteriorated during that time.

He said that the dynamics of their home were impacted by actor Yul Edochie’s frequent appearances on television.

“I’m the former husband to Judy Austin (Yul Edochie’s wife), we have 2 children together, sometimes I ask myself, wetin man do man?” he said.

He claimed that whenever Yul Edochie appeared on television, the actress frequently professed adoration for him, which unnerved him.

He added that throughout that time, he saw an increasing emotional gap in the marriage.

“Anytime we were watching TV and Yul Edochie appears, Judy won’t concentrate anymore, she’ll be telling me to my face that she loves Yul and be praising him,” he alleged.

The ex-husband also claimed he has evidence to back up his story, insisting that the relationship between Yul and Judy started while he was still married to her.

As he presented what he called “picture evidence” of their traditional marriage, Obasi broke down in tears, insisting that he had to be honest.

According to reports, Judy Austin and Yul Edochie had a covert relationship that resulted in the actor’s ex-wife, May Edochie, suing for divorce and the dissolution of her prior marriage.

After having their first son in 2021, the couple were married in a discreet, traditional ceremony.
