A school administrator has given an emotional narrative of how a moment of rage nearly cost a teacher her job, but compassion changed the outcome.

The incident, which he documented on X (previously Twitter), occurred three days earlier at the school he runs with his wife.

According to him, his wife fired one of their teachers for failing to report to work and not obtaining prior consent.

He added that the class in question has 24 very active students and only three adults to handle them: his wife, the teacher, and the janitor.

He stated the workload had been too much for his wife, who felt abandoned and angered by the teacher’s absence.

Out of rage, she had promised to fire the teacher as soon as she arrived. When the teacher finally arrived, his wife requested her to leave before hearing her explanation.

The teacher allegedly pleaded and waited quietly outside the school gate.

Given how stressful the situation was, the man intervened to soothe his wife and invited the teacher inside to explain herself.

He questioned why she did not come to work or phone to notify the school of her absence.

The teacher broke down in tears and gave him messages on her phone.

According to her, the man she was dating had recently married, and someone had sent her his wedding photos via WhatsApp.

The news had left her terribly upset. He recalled that she had always been a good instructor, which made him feel even more sympathetic to her plight.

He told her to go home and offered to talk with his wife on her behalf.

After revealing everything to his wife, something unexpected occurred.

His wife later called the teacher to offer advice and encouragement.

The situation was eventually rectified, and the teacher returned to work.

Reflecting on the situation, the man stated that it taught him the value of remaining cool and listening to other people’s problems before acting.
