A beautiful event at a Nigerian university has touched hearts online, with a professor filmed caring for a student’s infant during class so the young mother could concentrate on her academics.

The moving scene, posted on TikTok by user @SandraChioma27, soon drew attention and admiration from many viewers, who praised the lecturer for his considerate act.

According to the post, the lecturer purposefully assisted in caring for the infant during the lecture so that the student could focus solely on learning differential calculus, which many social media users praised as sympathetic and supportive.

“POV: Our lecturer had to carry my course mate’s baby so the mother can concentrate on differential calculus. What a homely man. He’s a good family man,” she captioned.
