Victor Osimhen, a striker for the Super Eagles, was named to the UEFA Champions League Team of the Week and the Team of the round 16 first-leg.
After scoring in Tuesday, February 21’s 2-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt with 10 men, Osimhen kept up his outstanding scoring record for Napoli.
He increased his season total to 20 goals in 24 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A front-runners.
Through their Twitter account, the football information and analytics website whoscored.com named the team of the week.
Osimhen was named to the Team of the Week along with three of his Napoli colleagues and three members of the Real Madrid squad: Karim Benzema, Eder Militao, Vinicius Junior, and Luka Modric.
While for the Team of first-leg round of 16, Osimhen was included with the same Madrid players and also three of his Napoli teammates.
Osimhen is being linked with moves to Chelsea and Manchester United this summer.
