Nigerian socialite, Okechukwu Pascal, better known as Chiefpriest, has launched an attack against the brother of former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, Isaac, over his remarks about Igbos aligning with President Bola Tinubu’s government.
Fayose, in a video shared on Instagram page, claimed that Igbos have neglected the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, in the Sokoto prison.
According to him, Yoruba activist, Sunday Igboho, who was charged with trafficking and possession of unlicensed arms and ammunition in Nigeria, has been cleared of all charges and has returned to the country.
In response, Chiefpriest in a post on his Instagram page defended his stance, arguing that aligning with power is a strategic move for business growth, not weakness.
The socialite maintained that he cannot negotiate Nnamdi Kanu’s release and urged Fayose to name the Yoruba businessmen who aided the release of Sunday Igboho.
He also questioned Fayose’s business credibility and challenged him to a public debate on wealth and enterprise, adding that he employs over 1,000 people through his initiatives and cannot afford to fight the government.
He wrote, “@isaacfayoseoriginal_ guy you no really get sense, wetin over 30 governors align to na wetin ordinary business man align to an you dey cry. Power pass power, you want me to negotiate the release of Nnamdi Kanu by being opposition, tell me the name of the yoruba business man that released Sunday Igboho and also tell me which Yoruba man you wan use compare Asiwaju as you claim.
“Well you are a complete fool to challenge you to a business debate let the world see both of use who has traces to his wealth. Your brother was governor for eight years what were you able to achieve for the people you are worried abiut Obi Cubana and Chief Priest. Very useless and jealous guy.
