Police have reportedly arrested two suspects in connection with the movement of a pistol and ammunition allegedly linked to the k!lling of Oghenemine Ogidi in Effurun, Delta State.

According to reports, the arrests include the alleged sender of a Beretta pistol and four rounds of ammunition from Yenagoa, which investigators believe may have been connected to the fatal sh00ting involving ASP Nuhu Usman.

Sources said the suspects were brought to the Effurun Area Command under the Delta State Police Command on Wednesday night as investigations continue into how the firearm moved and the circumstances surrounding Ogidi’s d3ath.

Although police authorities have not yet officially confirmed the arrests, a source familiar with the investigation reportedly told Vanguard that two suspects had indeed been taken into custody.

The case has continued to attract public attention and calls for accountability following the kil!lling of the 28-year-old.
