Priscilla Ojo, the daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, has responded to Tanzanian fans who criticised her husband, singer Juma Jux, on social media due to his apparent weight loss.

On Monday, August 11, 2026, the influencer came under intense scrutiny as fans of the Tanzanian musician expressed worry over his thinner appearance after he attended the wedding of Nigerian content creators Jarvis and Peller.

Some fans were concerned about his abrupt physical transformation, while others blamed his relationship with Priscilla for his weight loss. Then, while making critical remarks on her TikTok profile, they started the #FreeJumaJux movement.

One fan wrote:

“Free Jux. He’s a big artist, and seeing him lose so much weight so suddenly is really worrying and painful for his fans.”

Another made the following comparison between Juma Jux’s present and former relationships with Tanzanian singer Vanessa Mdee:

“Juma Jux was better with Vanessa Mdee.”

But Priscilla didn’t let the criticism go unanswered, making clever comments in response to some of the detractors.

Replying to one comment, she wrote: “Aww, your brother loves it here.”

She also appeared to fuel pregnancy rumours when she responded to another fan with:

“Una for talk since, second belle don enter.”

Priscilla further teased her critics, writing, “You know what they say about tall and thin men right,” before adding, “Too late.”

In the meantime, Juma Jux had already responded to criticism regarding his more slender looks by stating that he adores his new appearance. In the face of the criticism, his sister Fatima publicly defended Priscilla and his physique.
