Regina Daniels, a Nollywood actress, and her UK-based brother, Sweezzy, have unfollowed each other on Instagram, fueling suspicion about family discord.

This comes in the midst of her marital crisis with her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, which has made headlines online.

According to GistReel, Regina Daniels’ younger brother, Sammy West, who was just released on bail of 5 million naira, has also unfollowed Sweezzy on Instagram.

However, the reasons behind the unfollowing remain unknown, causing interest among supporters.

Sweezzy and his mother, Rita Daniels, both expressed support for Sammy West’s release.

Sammy West was arrested on November 6, 2025 and given bail of ₦5 million on November 10, 2025.

Senator Ned Nwoko allegedly filed a petition charging him of criminal conspiracy, trespass, assault, intimidation, theft, and cyberbullying, which led to his arrest in Lagos and transfer to Abuja.

The arrest stemmed from Regina Daniels and Senator Ned Nwoko’s marital conflict, which included charges of domestic violence and abuse of power.

Regina Daniels spoke out about her ongoing child custody struggle with Senator Ned Nwoko before unfollowing him.

The actress said that Ned fired her nannies, pressured them to make false claims about her, and has filed for full custody of their children despite having them in his care.
