Online discussions have been triggered by a dramatic incident on a Port Harcourt highway where a newly dedicated car reportedly caught fire.

Before it caught fire on the road, the car was a gift from the owner’s husband and had only been dedicated two hours prior, according to a man recounting the incident.

He asserted that despite the efforts of those present, every attempt to put out the fire with fire extinguishers was unsuccessful.

The man, who was clearly irritated, told drivers to stop using fire extinguishers because they don’t work in practical situations.

He went on to say that carrying 50 liters of water mixed with detergent is a better way to put out fires.
