A 31-year-old point-of-sale employee has shared his life’s challenges on social media, stating that he still resides with his parents.
In the video, which user @asakygrn posted on X, he talks openly about his life and the difficulties he encounters.
He claims that working as a POS attendant brings in ₦500 per day, or about ₦15,000 per month.
He revealed that he is beginning from debt rather than from scratch, emphasising the difficulties he has been facing.
He emphasised that, in spite of his situation, he is telling his tale to hold himself accountable and record his route to financial progress rather than to solicit sympathy.
The 31-year-old man, who is determined to change his life, has set the audacious goal of making ₦150,000 online in 60 days.
He intends to earn at least ₦2,500 per day, which is more than five times his present income, in order to accomplish this.

“I never thought I’d say this. This feels embarrassing to say out loud. I’m 31 years old and I live with my parents. I don’t have any marketable skill, so I work as a POS attendant for ₦500 a day—that’s ₦15,000 a month. This is not how I thought my life would be. What I hate to admit the most is I’m not even starting from zero but from debt. I’ve given myself a challenge to earn ₦150,000 online in 60 days using this phone. I need to make at least ₦2,500 every day. I have to actively build a skill along the way and will update my progress every day. If I hit my targets, you’ll see it; if I don’t, you’ll also see it. No hiding—I don’t know if this will work, but I feel it’s better than doing nothing. Day 1 starts now.”
