After the ex-wife of well-known Nigerian comedian Mark Angel made a number of unsettling claims regarding her marriage in a recent exposé posted on social media, accusations have emerged online.

Delivered in a popular “put a finger down” method, the discoveries have generated a great deal of controversy and conflicting responses on X, formerly Twitter.

In the widely shared post, the woman accused her ex-husband of repeatedly acting in a demeaning manner, manipulating her emotions, and being unfaithful.

She claims that the events caused long-lasting emotional damage and ultimately led to their marriage’s dissolution.

“Put a finger down if your man told you to have a threesome with a stranger on your wedding night. He said I should tell her we are just friends so she can feel comfortable. Put a finger down if your man said he wasn’t attracted to you. Put a finger down if your man constantly body shamed you…”

Her claims have reopened conversations around power dynamics in celebrity relationships and the pressure partners may face behind closed doors.

While Mark Angel has not publicly responded to the allegations at the time of filing this report, the exposé has continued to gain traction online, with many users calling for his side of the story, while others have expressed disbelief or outright condemnation of the claims.
